SUCESSFUL BULGARIAN EXPEDITION IN ALBANIA

For one month from 15 July, 31 th speleologists from 13 clubs members of the Bulgarian Federation of Speleology and two Ukrainians worked in shifts to continue the Bulgarian studies in Maya Arapit Cave and the vicinity of the same summit (2214 m n.v) located near the village Theth, Albanian Alps, northern Albania.

The 1st Balkan Cavers’ Camp took place in the village of Teshel in Bulgaria in 2007. The second one was held in 2008 in Kokinogia - Greece. The 3-rd Camp was organised by Turkish Cavers Union in 2009 in Olimpos area, Antalia County, Turkey. The honour to host the 4th Cavers` Camp had the Romanian Federation of Speleology. "

BALKAN CAMP 2010 - ROMANIA
The Romanian Speleological Federation with the support of the Balkan Speleological Union organizes the 4th edition of Balkan Cavers Camp between 15th -18th July 2010 in Padis – Natural Park Apuseni,
Bihor Mountains, administrative jurisdiction of Pietroasa village, Bihor County.
During the Balkan Camp there will also take place an International Cave Rescue Excercise at Cetăţile Ponorului Cave on 17th July 2010. Details about this exercise are included.
