 After official declaration letter form Speleological Committee Croatian Mountaineering Association (SCCMA) for membership in BSU an and open ballot of GAM the SCCMA was approved as BSU member with full majority of 7 votes!
We are very happy to welcome Croatia in the big family of Balkan Speleological Union which now grow to 8 countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, FYR Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey.
The GAM held in Olimpos – Turkey Greece decide to create commissions for: Speleological Training; Cave Protection and Cave Rescue. I in July 2009 a call for presidents and members of those commissions were send to all country members of BSU.
We have received application for the post of president of Cave Training Commission from Calin Voda – Romania and as President of Cave Protection Commission from Vesselin Drobenov – Bulgaria.
According the Art 15 of the Statute of BSU both Presidents of the commissions was elected from Assembly General by open electronic ballot !
The result of the elections are :
Position of President of Cave Training Commission:
Calin Voda : 7 voices, 1 abstention
Position of President of Cave Protection Commission:
Vesselin Drobenov : 7 voices, 1 abstention
