 Please spread this information among the members of your National Speleological Organisation !!!
To
National Delegates and Vice delegates in Balkan Cavers Union
According the Art.33 &34 of Statute of BSU adopted during the GAM held in Olimpos – Greece BSU can create working Commissions. The GAM was decided to create the following 3 BSU commissions:
Cave and Speleological Training Commission;
Cave Rescue Commission;
Cave Protection Commission.
BSU is looking for candidatures for presidents and members of each commission!!!
Each president of a commission must keep the BSU Bureau regularly informed of the commission's activities, via a short written report listing outstanding facts sent every three months, and a detailed report sent once a year.
In the Commissions, its president and its members don't represent their country or their
organisation, but they represent a specific responsibility toward every Balkan cavers.In other words we try to forget our national interests to focus only on the Balkan interests of caves and cavers.
The main work and exchange (decision-taking) is done by email in English on the Commission email-list), and sometimes the presidents will answer also to Balkan cavers in for individual answers.
The Commission will have usually 1 (sometimes 2) meetings per year outside of
GAM periods . They can take place during big Balkan events (like Balkan Cavers’Camps ), but sometimes they can be apart; for example close by one of the Commission member location.
The travel costs are unfortunately not taken in charge by the BSU for the moment, since we don't have enough income.
So if somebody of Balkan Cavers is motivated to help concretely in this very important Balkan task and to bring your ideas and working time, can send your application

The documents will be submitted to all national delegates !
The presidents of the commissions will be elected by e-mail open ballot !
